Find the Right Medicare Plan for You
Every person's Medicare needs are different. We'll help you understand your options and choose with confidence.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage Plans are an all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare, offered by private insurers approved by Medicare. They bundle Part A, Part B, and usually Part D drug coverage.
- Includes hospital (Part A) and medical (Part B) coverage
- Usually includes prescription drug coverage (Part D)
- Often includes dental, vision, and hearing benefits
- May have lower premiums than Medigap plans
- Network-based — you may need referrals for specialists
Medicare Supplement
Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans work alongside Original Medicare to cover costs like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles that Medicare doesn't pay.
- Works with any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare
- Covers most or all out-of-pocket costs left by Original Medicare
- Standardized plans (A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, N)
- Does NOT include prescription drug coverage — add a Part D plan
- Premiums are higher but costs are predictable
Prescription Drug Plans
Medicare Part D plans add prescription drug coverage to Original Medicare or some other Medicare plans. Each plan has its own formulary (list of covered drugs) and cost structure.
- Covers brand-name and generic prescription drugs
- Each plan has a formulary — check your medications are covered
- Drugs are placed in tiers that affect your cost
- Enroll when first eligible to avoid late enrollment penalties
- Plans change annually — review your plan every year
Dual-Eligible Plans
Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) are designed for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid. They coordinate benefits from both programs into one streamlined plan.
- Designed for people with both Medicare and Medicaid
- Coordinates benefits from both programs seamlessly
- Often includes extra benefits like transportation and meal delivery
- May have $0 or very low premiums
- Includes care coordination and case management
Dental, Vision & Hearing
Original Medicare doesn't cover most dental, vision, or hearing services. Standalone supplemental plans fill these critical gaps so you can maintain your overall health.
- Covers routine dental cleanings, X-rays, and major dental work
- Includes eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses
- Covers hearing exams and hearing aids
- Available as standalone plans or bundled with Medicare Advantage
- Affordable premiums with broad provider networks
Cancer & Critical Illness
Supplemental cancer and critical illness plans pay a lump sum or benefits directly to you when you're diagnosed with a covered condition — helping cover costs Medicare doesn't.
- Pays cash benefits directly to you upon diagnosis
- Covers cancer, heart attack, stroke, and other critical illnesses
- Use benefits for medical bills, living expenses, or anything you need
- Works alongside Medicare and other coverage
- Affordable premiums with no network restrictions
